Investigation of the Change Towards Scientific Attitudes of Students with Out-of-School Learning Experience

The research aimed to follow the long term change of an intervention conducted outside school for human and environmental unit in science course on scientific attitude. was designed according a single group pre-post-test simple experimental model. sample consisted 21 students studying 5th grade middle Turkey. Both qualitative quantitative data were collected. Quantitative collected with Scientific Attitude Inventory (SAI II) developed by Moore Foy (1997). It applied four times, beginning, at end intervention, sixth, also one half-year following. Qualitative explain verify results. A total 13 open-ended questionnaire. SPSS program used analyzing subject content analysis. results SAI II revealed statistically significant just third subscale. Based results, attitudes attributed fact that they watched speeches scientists communication tools such as television internet during their stay home due Covid-19 epidemic, reflection learning products program. partial decrease and/or increase other subscales pointed permanence teaching some extent.
